C-8. Appointment Dates
Academic year appointments begin on August 1 and end on May 31. The fall semester begins August 1 and ends December 31 and the spring semester begins January 1 and ends May 31. Most full-time faculty appointments are for the academic year. Part-time faculty are usually appointed by semester.
